You probably have many experiences of people projecting their issues onto you, and likely you have changed your ways many times to suit the expectations that others have projected onto you.

What is left, is you, just as you are. Your heart, your beliefs, your unique outlook; all of that is valuable and necessary. Listen to yourself closely and you will deeply feel what comes from deep within and what comes from a more shallow and programmed layer. Act in accordance to what your heart is communicating; this is all you need to do.
