The word vulnerability can send shivers down someone’s spine, the thought of being open and vulnerable in this world in which normalised abuse is in our face and even in our own behaviours on a daily basis, on so many layers and levels of our psyche, our relationships, in our communities, in the images we’re exposed to and so much more.
Vulnerability can be seen as weak. As the opposite of being strong. And none of us want to be weak, and we do want to be strong and vigilant and fierce, right?
Daring to be truly vulnerable requires courage and it’s what brings you back into yourself, fully balanced and truthful. How can this be a weakness if it is what makes you truly strong and powerful?
There are places, and people, where and with whom you can be truly vulnerable. The people who ask you how you are, and truly want to know the answer. The people who love you and are aware of the divinity they and you are. The people who know hurting another is a form of self abuse as well. And maybe you have people like this in your life, but there’s still a fear of truly opening up. Because truly opening up, exposing all of who you are with all your beauty and your trauma, can be terrifying. We have been hurt so, so much throughout our lives, that it’s almost impossible to believe that you can be truly safe in being the fullness of you. Even when we know vulnerability isn’t a bad thing, we can still wear layers and masks and put up a certain image of who we are, to seemingly come across as invulnerable.
Maybe you feel you don’t have people in your life with the ability to be truly vulnerable with you. When you start experimenting with showing more of yourself, you will see that you will meet people doing the exact same thing. And once true vulnerability, openness and intimacy is established between people, it’s the most healing and supportive experience, the true beauty of our raw purity in action. We believe relationships based on this kind of intimacy are indestructible.
We believe that true vulnerability is the most beautiful and powerful state to be in, a fully open heart showing, as if you are an innocent child that’s never experienced hurt, betrayal and abuse in it’s life, so ready to experience the joy, excitement and the pure love available in this world. This level of true vulnerability is what creates true intimacy between people. We believe this is what we’re evolving into. Free of hurt, free of abuse patterns and deep safety, trust and intimacy in our relationships with those we hold dear and maybe even with everyone on the planet at a later stage.
This sign helps you letting go of patterns, programming, ideas and thoughts which prevent you from daring to be truly vulnerable and open. It might make you feel uncomfortable and exposed, it might bring up other feelings and sensations that are intertwined with the feeling of being open and vulnerable.
