Threshold of Fire

The Lionsgate and Sacred Signs are deeply intertwined. Six years ago, it cracked Astaran open and the multidimensional geometry began to reveal itself to him. Around that same opening, I went through a death without dying of my own. What opened in me was deeply internal: the boundaries of who I thought I was fell away and I found myself in the space of being everything, everywhere, all at once. I knew that “I” was “all of it”.

The Lionsgate that year opened us in complementary ways. Sacred Signs grew from the space between those experiences.

This year the Lionsgate opened and four days later the Sun was eclipsed. Light and dark. Fire and shadow. This past month asked you to feel the pull of those opposites in your own body, more intensely than usual, so something old could finally release.

Something was released this month.
Maybe you can point to the exact moment. Maybe you only know it happened because you feel different now and can’t say why. Maybe by reading this and seeing the sign, you remember. Or maybe you don’t feel anything different.

All of that is perfectly okay. You don’t have to know exactly what has left.

Look at the geometry. At the centre is a spiral, surrounded by layer upon layer of movement. The opening doesn’t reveal everything at once. It draws you in, one turn at a time, through everything that has gathered around it.

Some openings are like that.
You can feel that something has changed without knowing what it will become.

Your mind wants a reason before it lets you move. It wants to name what happened, understand why it happened and decide what it means. It will ask for proof while your body is still processing the experience.

Don’t rush to close it back up because you cannot explain it yet.
You don’t need proof.
You need to trust yourself enough to keep walking.

A threshold doesn’t ask you to understand it before you cross it.
It asks you to enter it by feeling your way through.
To let each layer reveal itself when you reach it.

This sign supports you in taking that walk.

Sit with what opened.
Give it time before you name it.
Let the body keep what the mind hasn’t caught up to yet.
Let the fire move through what has been ready to release.

You may find that what opened is larger than the thing you first thought had changed. You may find another layer underneath it. And another.

Just keep walking.

You don’t have to see the whole path to take the next step.
What opened in you is already moving through you.
