Unglove Yourself
I allow things to be as they are.
This sign came with a poem by Mark Nepo about the gloves we put on so we don't have to feel the world. The challenge each day is to unglove ourselves, so the doorknob feels cold and a kiss goodbye feels soft and unrepeatable.
It was seen for someone with a lot of inner noise. Voices about what he should want and do, which were not his. Resisting them and taking tight control both blocked the natural flow of life.
The middle between accepting and rejecting is allowing. Letting things be as they are, even when you don't agree, without fixing it or taking it personally.
