Jaguar

I am brave in the dark and true to myself.

In the reading for this sign everything went dark, until two large green eyes appeared. A jaguar pounced and Astaran fell deep into the earth, into a warm forest.

A boy of about seven came to meet him. He led the way through a dark jungle, humming and laughing, while the jaguar watched over him and caught him when he nearly fell into a river. At the foot of a giant tree he explained that the jaguar had to go now. She carries the strength to stay brave in the face of darkness while staying true to yourself.

The sign holds a link to that strength. You can visualise her during the day if you like.
