Butterfly

I am thankful for what touched my life, even briefly.

This sign came with a short poem about a butterfly that lands beside us like a sunbeam. For a brief moment its beauty belongs to our world. Then it flies on.

We wish it could have stayed, and we are thankful to have seen it at all. The sign holds that gratitude for what was here for a while.
