We have freedom to steer the ship and navigate the waters, but nature decides where we eventually end up. We can try to make things work, procrastinate on making decisions or stepping into action, but at some point nature steps in and makes difficult decisions for us by just making it happen through ourselves and others. This can be something that brings fear, but it could also be a source of deep relaxation. We tend to take ourselves so seriously and we are programmed to believe that we are the most intelligent species here. But compared to the intelligence that is this universe, our minds are limited and we barely have an overview of what is and isn’t working in our own lives, let alone of the greater picture. All we need to do is remember that we are an intrinsic part of nature and that we can reconnect with the current that is always there to guide us.

Change is something to embrace, just as a raw diamond must be cut and polished to reveal its full radiance, so do things we considered part of us (including other people, jobs, identities and the like) need to be cut off and other parts polished to shine. You are not here for the ordinary; you are here to shine with a light that hasn’t been seen on this planet for a long, long time. We are being pushed to our limits and beyond, in order to build clarity and strength, in order to bring all of the light that we are into this reality.
We cannot become be the wisest, softest, most fierce and courageous versions of ourselves without being pushed, challenged and brought to our knees and give up our insistence of knowing better than the universe. Avoiding hardship is futile and trying to numb yourself, put your head in the sand or ‘cognitive dissonance your way out of things’ is no longer effective. Only bravely facing whatever is happening internally and externally will bring you the release you so desperately crave in times of extreme challenge.

This is a time of mastery, of stepping fully into the brilliance that has always been within you. Through releasing every single thing that is not of love, we will embody only that which is of pure love. If times are challenging for you, remind yourself of the forging of a diamond. Like this diamond, forged under immense pressure, you are shaped by every experience, every hardship you come across. Every facet of your being reflects a light, specific to your unique set up, and only you are able to bring in what is yours to be and do. Nobody else can do it for you and nobody else will ever be as good as you are at being you. Your presence in this time and your unique light is radiating out in ripples throughout this universe.
